Allie is already 8 months old and is getting so big! She is now scooting around the floor, it started out backward and as of two nights ago she switched her gears to drive. She has been starting to get up on her knees and doing "the bridge" alot. She started clapping last week (with her hands as she has been clapping with her feet for a while). Her hair is starting to slowly grow in and to celebrate that I put little clippies in her hair. It was so cute! She has the brightest personality and biggest smiles. and now her teeth are a little lower and her teeth shine in that smile. :) Here are some pics of her goofing around.

I know it's a bit late but Happy Father's Day Matt. Your a wonderful father and I love to see your bond grow with Allie everyday. Your amazing!


While Matt was playing in a Father's Day golf tournament I visited my dad. We watched an 80's movie that he loved and then he opened his gift. Here is what I got him.

and if you know my dad you know he loves Xena. Yes Xena. Last year for his birthday I got him a few Xena dolls and now he has 6 different characters. and he just got the whole tv series on dvd. That will keep him busy for a while.

I also got him a bookmark with the footprints poem. (He is reading again!) Soon after I became a believer he gave my that poem and it has always had a special place in my heart.

Love you dad! Your the best. I am glad the Lord chose you to be my daddy.

This summer I took on my niece Brynne (6 next month) along with Will and Allie while she is out of school. It's only three days a week but Whew! I have WAY more respect for moms of three! It's so fun though. We have been having a blast! They got this brand spankin new play structure in their back yard. The favorite feature is the swings!

I know we are supposed to feel relief when she goes to bed because it's a much needed break but instead we both miss her. We LOVE being parents.

Allie's bottom teeth came out 2 months ago and her top teeth finally popped out last week. and she is getting two more beside her top teeth. I was able to catch them on camera. They are the cutest things, they have a space in them - for now. We miss the gummy smiles but we are loving her toothy smiles.

She loves to rub her tongue on them, it's constantly out!

Tonight was the perfect night to spend time outside barbecuing. It was perfect weather and Matt made some awesome steak and sausage kabobs. We love summer!
