So as many of you know work has been extremely hard for me over the last few months. We were robbed on Christmas Eve and I was trying recover from that when 2 weeks ago I was robbed again. It was way to much for me to handle. I was having panic attacks and was very stressed the day I had to go back. Every time that door opens you have no idea if someone bad is coming in. So that night through tears I told Matt that I just couldn't do it anymore. He was so sweet the night before and told me that if I couldn't do it we would work it out. Well that time came. I couldn't even make it a day. So the next day I called my boss and told him I needed to think about what I was going to do. Then the day after I went in and turned in my keys and they counted me out. I am finally free! We talked it over with my sister and her husband and we came up with a plan for me to watch her kids during the week and they would pay me instead of daycare. To make up the rest of our income I am going to take care of my dad 3 days a week. I know the Lord gave me a way out of something I couldn't handle. He presented me with something much better and something that will make me happy. So please pray for our new journey!

Easter!
Every year we have brunch at my grandparents house. We ate good food, chatted, and watched the kids find easter eggs.

Eddie Sam!
Take a look at my friend Lindsays blog to hear the story of how we met our new Sellwood friend. and yes as you may read I was robbed at work again and you are welcome to ask me about it but for my sanity I don't want to think about it to much. But a hug would be great! :)

An Ode To Sarah!
As many of you know Matt has really bad Eczema and the other night he woke up at 2 itching his hands in his sleep. He said they just ached and he couldn't stop scratching. So he went into the bathroom, gooped up with a ton of lotion and came back and put socks on his hands. He then slept through the night. :) Thanks for the idea Sarah!

10 Years!
Yesterday Matt and I celebrated our 10 year dating anniversary. 10 years ago Matt passed me a note that asked me to be his girlfriend (I know what your thinking what a romantic huh, at least it didn't have check yes or no) I said yes and we have had the most wonderful 10 years of our lifes. The next day after I was officially "Matts girl" I had our state competition for dance and he left green carnations, a green teddy bear and a balloon in my locker. They were green in honor of St. Pattys day and because our theme was Intel (remember those Intel robots that danced in the commercials) well I was one of the green ones.
Last night I brought home green carnations and some goodies and he also brought home some flowers for me and some goodies! We went out to eat at the Macaroni Grill and had a wonderful evening full of reminiscing. I love you Babe and I can't wait to celebrate many more anniversaries to come.

Sweet Words About My Dad
As most of you know my family has had a rough year. My dad has had some health issues but lately he has taken some steps forward, they are slow but good steps forward. Thanks to everyone who has prayed for him and for my family. My sister recently posted some sweet words about him and a funny picture that shows off what a goofball he is. That is the dad I know. :) Check it out.

God's Children
Last night Matt was flipping channels while I was reading. He stopped on a channel that had a guy interviewing the guys in the Superbowl at a big press junket the day before the big game. It was a Christian channel and he was asking these believers about their walk with Christ. It was so cool to see these huge football players talking about their relationship with the Lord even reciting their favorite scripture. It was a good reminder that the Lord can touch anyone in any walk of life even in a field (no pun intended) full of greed and pride. It inspired me to share one of my favorite scriptures with you.
Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Philippians 4:6
