Twilight Tour

My sister has been begging me to read Twilight for a long time and I finally gave in. Well I fell in love. All the books are awesome! I just finished the fourth today. Last week Matt's mom had a couple of family friends in town and Tamara is a Twilight fan too and since the movie was filmed here they were going to check out some of the spots so I decided to tag along.

We started by having breakfast at the Carver Cafe and we took some pictures at Bella's table.

Then we headed to The ViewPoint Inn were the prom was filmed. I have never been there but I would recommend going even if you aren't a fan. The view was amazing and the restaurant was really nice.

They have a "walk of fame" were you can buy a brick to help fix the chimney at The ViewPoint Inn and the film crew bought some and had the characters names put on them

Then we made a stop at Multnomah Falls were they filmed just a little. It was well worth the stop. It always is!

It was a fun day. Thanks for letting me tag along! My sister was super jealous. :)

Bean Boozled

While at the beach we visited a candy store there (surprise surprise right) and we found a box of Jelly Belly Bean Boozled jellybeans. In the box are regular flavored jelly beans and nasty flavors. but the trick is there are two different flavors to each color. One gross and one good. So you could get plum or black pepper. We decided to get a box and play a game with them. We played war and whenever someone lost a war they had to eat a jelly bean not knowing what flavor it would be. The first three I ate were good but then all the rest were nasty. and somehow Matt got only good ones! I ended up eating ear wax, baby wipes, toothpaste, black pepper and vomit. Nasty indeed.

Allie's First Vacation

A few weeks ago we went to the coast for a few days. It was so much fun to get out of town with Allie. It was very different then other vacations but in a good way. Other then not being able to sleep in. :)

We stopped off at camp 18 for some yummy breakfast on the way.

We had a huge tub in the middle of our room and we took advantage of it.

She loved kicking her legs as fast as they would go. She loved it so much that we went in it more then once.

The last day was cold but beautiful. We took advantage and walked Allie down to the beach for her first time.

She didn't like the cold in her face but had fun anyways.

We then got her socks off and put her feet in the sand.

If your ever in Cannon Beach drive 5 minutes south to Hug Point. It's amazing. There are huge rocks with small caves carved out and a waterfall. The tide was to high for us to go see the waterfall but we had fun walking this beautiful beach.

"It Was Everywhere!"

My nephew Will (18 months) occasionally likes to take pieces of clothing off during his nap. The other day he had gotten his arms through the neck hole of his shirt and pulled it down to his waist. Today I got a call from my mom, she called to tell me what he did during his nap today. Because of the weather she took his pants off, well she is regretting that now. He had gotten his diaper off and then pooped in the play pen! He then stepped in it and then preceded to smear it on his shirt and face. She said it was everywhere! and then smell was so strong it woke my dad up in the other room! She had to immediately put him in the tub and then spray the play pen and his clothes with the hose. I am SO glad that didn't happen here! Tomorrow I will be duct taping his diaper on!
